Went here for LaLa Nails which is housed in one of the suites in this building. Decided to get my nails done while on vacation in January. Found this place recommended on a Honolulu subreddit online. Found their instagram (@lalanailshawaii) and then made an appointment via texting their number. This place is by appointment only but I was in Honolulu for 10 days so I made sure to book the first day I got into town. This place specializes in Japanese gel nails. Upon arriving at my appointment time, I was greeted by my nail tech. I wish for the life of me I could remember her name! She was so nice. Anyways, the studio is fairly small but can accommodate two clients at a time. The chair was very comfy and she even had a basket for me to put my purse in for the visit. She also had a phone holder so I could browse on my phone if I wanted to. There was also a TV on the back wall so I could watch a movie while my nails were getting done. My nail tech was very knowledgeable and professional. She cleaned up my natural nails and cuticles. My nails were on the short side at the time but she shaped them very nicely. When it came time to pick out my nail color, I was excited by all the choices she had on hand. I ended up going with this reddish pink chrome color. She recommended the cat eye and I’m glad I went with that recommendation. I had never had cat eye before and it was so cool seeing her use the magnet on my nails. She was very good at checking in to make sure I liked what she did before curing the nails. At the end I was so happy with how they turned out! Price was very reasonable for the quality. I couldn’t stop looking at my nails afterwards. They were so mesmerizing! Overall, this was such a fun thing to do while on vacation. It was very fun and relaxing. I would definitely get my nails done by her again!
