If you are a unit owner in a condominium association in the Orlando FL area looking for representation, Divine & Estes Law Firm , despite their web site stating they “represent condominium associations, unit owners and developers in all aspects of condominium law”, they in fact do not. I called they very politely told me that is not the case and they only represent condominium associations and recommended I contact the local bar association.
We had a great closing with Divine and Estes. Our closing proved to be very challenging but the team at Divine and Estes went above and beyond to help up close the transaction successfully. Laurie is a very experienced title agent and Collin is a very personable and approachable attorney with honest straightforward advice. Will definitely trust them with our next closing!
An attorney I trust recommended Collin to assist me in buying a piece of property from my father’s trust. The trustee had a real estate agent. By choosing Collin rather than hiring my own real estate agent, I avoided a buyer’s agent’s commission. That meant I paid less to buy the property because the buyer’s agent’s commission, which is paid by the seller, is passed along to the buyer in the form of a higher purchase price. Being an attorney myself, I can say Collin was excellent, and far better than any real estate agent could have been. He was clearly knowledgeable about the law and the process of buying, selling, titling, HUD, etc. Collin was responsive, efficient, and tens of thousands of dollars less than a buyer’s agent.
