He is a bad lawyer, unprofessional, uncaring, and greedy. When I hired him for my divorce, it took 3 weeks for him to write and submit the petition for dissolution of marriage. He did not do anything for 9 months except miss court hearings and was not willing to share the case number so I was unaware of what’s going on until I researched the Circuit court inquiry docket report and found out about the last hearing before the dismissal of my divorce petition. The Judge kindly set up another conference 3 months later. Nothing was done by Mr. Pedata, during that time, except he emailed me some forms to fill out for a financial statement, which I emailed him a few weeks later, since he didn’t respond to any of my emails. A few days later, by text, I verified that he received it but never filed it with the court. During the second court meeting, he was asking the same questions as at first, which is when I realized that he was unaware of the law and the process and fired him promptly. And for all of this wasted time, he charged me $3,815.00. Consumer beware: If you value your time and money, do not hire him because he’s a bad lawyer.
