Hired this firm for a simple, uncontested step-parent adoption. Despite already having the signed relinquishment, the case dragged on for nearly a year with no progress. I was charged for repeated internal meetings, but nothing was filed on time, and the case was ultimately dismissed due to their inaction. I wasn’t even notified—found out from the other party. After reinstatement, the attorney withdrew, saying the case was a “financial hardship” to the firm due to my balance. I had contested the charges, and received no response. I provided everything asked of me in a timely manner and received nothing in return but delay, poor communication, and unnecessary costs. Completely unprofessional experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Had a previous divorce that had gotten dismissed paid this office to resume the divorce and attorney was not on top of it. They took my whole 2000 retainer and said it was because of these special meetings the Bryan Fagan would have yea I bet. Didn’t even go to court but twice at the most. I could see where it was headed that why I fired the attorney before pursuing this office
I hired this company with an agreement of 3500 down and 500 a month payments to do one response cause . They then did not even show up for there own initial meeting they offered a video chat amd even that they did not show to the video only audio then charged for 3 different ppl to be in this meeting for zero benefit costing me an absurd amount off of my retainer infact all of it was gone before we spoke about the case . Then I was charged several more times and still have not gone to try this case . In fact I now have lost weeks more time due to them not timely filling even though they charged for filing weeks before saying they filled. Top that with the charged me thousands more because they didn’t file in time and had to push back . After all that they subpoenaed, someone that had already been subpoenaed by the courts and sworn in to be.There costing me another sixteen hundred to two thousand. I’m well over 7500 in this and have zero to show now they threaten to drop me as a client cause I don’t want to keep paying for things that are not communicated or approved to be doing . The lady was informed that no more money can be taken and shill charged the account. They were told not to do anything other than show up and yet still more bills . Currently owing in there three thousand more still before any other stuff ….. this is definitely not the way to go unless you enjoy being taken advantage of …. I really hope this message reaches someone above who I have been working with so something can be done about this issue. I plan on working with the state to file grievances in these matters if there is not a adequate resolution presented as it is the proper rought if no resolution is offered.
