Amy was hired as my divorce attorney which included a QDRO for a 401k. Her firm altered the divorce paperwork by making a hand change which the 401k administrator refused to take. Amy told me a few times that nothing was altered and it was in the 401k administrator’s hands. She was finally emailed a copy with the changes and the law firm went silent. This put the QDRO behind for over a year causing stress on me. If you want a competent lawyer, stay away from this one.

I have waited to share this rating because I wanted to give Amy Perez Law Firm the opportunity to respond to us and to correct all of their mistakes regarding the divorce of my mother. I am a CPA and I am the Financial Power of Attorney for my mother. I do not recommend using Amy Perez Law Firm because the firm is not responsive, does not take responsibility for their errors, refuses to answer emails, or to return telephone calls. They keep telling me certain things just take a long time, well, yes they do if its not done right. I am so disappointed in this firm, it started off well, but as we got into more complicated items, such as the court ordered distribution of pension assets, the firm seems to be incompetent in this area and does not seem interested in resolving the issues.
