The Attorney General Child Support office in La Marque, Texas, has received mixed reviews from clients. While some appreciate the attentiveness of the staff, many express frustration with the long wait times and difficulties in reaching a human representative for assistance. Overall, clients are seeking improvements in communication and efficiency to better support their needs regarding child support matters.
They pick up and hang up right away. Lazy workers don’t even attempt to do their jobs.
If you like being on hold forever and dealing with lazy ass people who lose your paperwork or don’t ever respond to you. This is the place to go. Been waiting on a response since Sept of 2023 for my modification and here it is Oct of 2024 and haven’t heard anything. Meanwhile, my ex wife gets an email from them every week . They need to invest in calculators for the workers there because they obviously aren’t great at math since they can’t even compute numbers into a computer with the numbers staring them in the face typed out. Meanwhile, they keeping adding interest to the wrong amount. Such a headache to deal with.*Finally got a hearing 3/25. The mediator for AG would not let go to trial to speak to a judge. I told her repeatedly I wanted a trial with a judge. She picked her own numbers for child support and considered the matter closed on my review. Last I remember, constitutionally, I have a right to a trial by a judge. I’ll be consulting an attorney on this matter.
Always attentive, but I personally don’t like the fact that you can’t sit down with someone personally, it’s always over a zoom video call
