Don’t hire this firm unless you want pure incompetence, unprofessionalism and to be be charged way to much money to loose big.
I would not hire Robert Holmes. He does not put up a fight, he is very passive and tends to agree with the opposing counsel. He forgets crucial information and ponds stuff off to his associates and double charges you. I didn’t feel like he was in my corner at all but more in my exes corner. He has no compassion and does not explain anything but give 1 word answers. He left out key facts in trial that could have had a complete different outcome. He truly does not have the best interest of the client in mind but thinks of his pocket first. I regret hiring him. I would never recommend him to anyone. His negligence truly hurt me in trial. I lost big. He couldn’t even close out my divorce and I had to get a substitution of attorney. Can’t believe someone like him is legal to practice law.
I spent $22k just to get child and spousal support payments, but there was no strategy in place to get the property division and after 2 months of delays and promises to get a settlement agreement hammered out – I was left with no guidance on what my rights were and what I could expect. When I complained Mr. Holmes told me to just sign the Stipulation as is and that they would not longer represent me and threatened me with attorney fees if he had to go to trial. Attorneys are supposed to fight for you not threaten and abandon you after they take your money.
