This is just the worst law firm, he belittled me as a woman. I actually work hard as a single mother, I don’t need government benefits and I can financially support my son
This law firm lied & deceived our family.. Taking advantage of us at our most vulnerable time… Their actions broke the hearts of children .. which did not seem to be of any concern to them. They took $1500 from us and gave us NOTHING in return other than broken hearts & disenfranchised kids.., PLEASE DO NOT TRUST YOUR FAMILY WITH THESE GREEDY & INDIFFERENT PEOPLE who are only in the business to take from those who are desperate & vulnerable!!
I was lied to & stolen from.. I reached out wanting to move forward with a step parent adoption.. the very first thing I asked was how much $$ the adoption would cost.. He told me that his fee was $1500 possibly another $500 depending on a few details.. and the additional charges would be around $1500. So I hired him. Then I received 4 phone calls from the other 4 parties that would have to be involved in the case due to the unknown father variable in my petition (obviously something very embarrassing and I would not be sharing this except I want to prevent anyone else being taken advantage of as I was)as well as the regular adoption protocol .. each one quoting me $1500.. a total of $6000 more than he had told me!!!! When I reached out to complain he told me that he could just do a name change instead. I agreed. Then without ever having gone into a court room/spent more than 5 min on the phone w me he sent me a bill for the $2500 I would owe him if I chose to proceed with the name change!! I obviously could not afford this, which he knew.. and so he was able to vacate my case.. take my $1500 without having ever done anything at all.. I DO NOT BELIEVE that he was ignorant of what these lawyers/examiners charged(as he said he was)This was unintentional.. I believe that he took me for what I was worth & left me to pick up the pieces.. the fact that a family law lawyer would behave in this way.. with children involved.. it’s disgusting. PLEASE do not use this lawyer!!
