If you actually want representation do not use them, they have a nice new location in Katy but don’t let that fool you. I threw money down the toilet. I did not get briefed before the hearing nor did they do any research or investigative work, plan a strategy or anything. My attorney’s hands were actually shaking while we were in the administrative hearing because she was unprepared and was “winging it” at a cost to me of $3500. The only communication I got is when it was time to submit my payments as I was on a payment plan and payments were completed just in time before the hearing, lol. We lost the case, I may as well have went in by myself. When the state sent my attorney the findings my attorney took over 2 weeks to forward it to me which could have resulted in me missing my appeal deadline. I requested an appeal from my attorney and it fell on deaf ears, So I sent in my own appeal hoping to buy time so I can find a new attorney, and it was denied because I am not an attorney, didn’t not know the lingo, legalese jargon or verbage. Prior to my request for an appeal we set up a phone conference and they missed the appointment , so I had to call them, and received no apology. I am so glad this was not a criminal case that could have resulted in incarceration or custody of a child because I would have been screwed. When people say they are in jail because they did not have quality representation, this is what they are talking about.
