John O’Brien (Tax Attorney) in Galena Park, Texas, is highly regarded for his compassionate approach and dedication to his clients. Many reviewers praise his willingness to listen and provide exceptional legal counsel, often highlighting the warm and familial atmosphere created by both him and his assistant, Mary Rodriguez. Despite some concerns about office organization, the overall sentiment reflects a strong recommendation for his legal services, emphasizing his experience and commitment to helping those in need.
I have been coming with Mr. John E. O’Brien for more than ten years. He is such a good person and a sweet heart. He’s always there for any questions that I have. I love his legal administrative assistant Mary Rodriguez who is always willing to help us with a smile on her face. They treat you like family which not a lot of businesses do.
Their office is disorganized, and I saw on the administrative assistant’s desk W-2s with social security numbers visible to anyone. I went in August 2024 with a levy letter, and I was told that there would be no garnishment until February. I saved for nearly six months to make a large payment, but when I went to the office, he had zero information and had never contacted the IRS. Not only did he tell me the government only wanted $3,000, but that number was vastly incorrect. I have called over ten times for updates and never received a call back until I physically went into the office. He seems like a great attorney in his youth but is overwhelmed now and probably needs an actual legal assistant instead of someone who is not educated in paralegal work.
What can I say about Attorney John O’Brien–his good! I’d have to get in a lot of trouble to see how good he really is…lol !!!
