When requesting a payoff for our chapter 13 I was given a specific figure from Mr Sims office. I paid that figure within days of the amount given. I then checked the trustee website on a regular basis so I could confirm the payoff. When the figures didn’t seem to add up I contacted his office multiple times. They never properly entertained my concerns and consistently gender-stereotyped me regarding emotions and patience. Turns out I was right! I received an email today that they made a mistake and I owe more money. I consulted the trustee on my case who explained the attorney’s office should have known better. I am incredibly disappointed
