Law Offices of Robert T. Stites
Robert T. Stites Law Offices in Fort Worth, Texas, has received a mix of feedback from clients, highlighting both the strengths and weaknesses of their services. Many reviewers praise Mr. Stites for his tenacity, knowledge of family law, and ability to secure favorable outcomes, emphasizing his straightforward communication style and dedication to preparing clients for the challenges of their cases. However, some clients have expressed dissatisfaction with his aggressive approach and high fees, suggesting that potential clients should carefully consider their needs before engaging his services.
I hired Robert Stites for my divorce case two years ago. My ex-husband admitted to me (while I was recording the conversation) that he watches VERY illegal, disgusting things on the dark web. He was also abusive. My case should have been a slam dunk….but Robert Stites could not even remember my name, TOLD me that I should ask for more spousal support through the divorce than my ex-husband even brought in each month (I told him no but he ignored me). He was aggressive and rude towards the judge. I paid him an $8000 deposit and he kept all of it (we met twice before my hearing; he did nothing to actually prepare. So he essentially stole my deposit money). I fired him after the first hearing and then spent another 14 months and $30,000 fighting an uphill battle (after the damage Stites did) to just get out of that marriage.

Don’t waste your time. I’m not the type to write reviews but I feel it’s necessary to warn people. I went in for a consultation for what seems to be a very easy case. My son is seventeen years old and lives with me. I wanted to change the original paperwork to reflect the fact that he lives with me now. He was very rude And quoted me a ridiculous cost of $10000. But of course had no problem keeping my consultation fee. If you didn’t want to take my case just say that.
