Fathers For Equal Rights in Fort Worth, Texas, has received mixed reviews from clients, with some expressing frustration over unprofessional interactions and a perceived lack of genuine support. However, a few reviewers found value in the insights gained from the organization, stating that the advice provided helped them reflect on their own situations and approach to family matters. While many caution against relying solely on this agency, some acknowledge that it can offer useful information, albeit with the caveat of seeking additional legal representation for more comprehensive assistance.
I have a situation where the non custodial parent took my children across state lines and won’t give them back, defying a court order. So much for sympathy, help, or even decency from this agency! The way the guy talked to me was disgusting and unprofessional. He pissed me off to the point where I wanted to pull up to the office just to kick his old ass! I’m just now seeing the other reviews left, and idk why I’m surprised seeing the many similar remarks. I bet not dare give this organization my money
I don’t know them very well, but when it comes to divorce and family, I am very ignorant. I believe many people would consider the advice as condescending, because they will not take inventory of their own personal situation, the information I got today was purely gold. Upon careful consideration I had to examine how I have been wrong in my approach. I believe their approach is better than mine, and am willing to learn from them. If crass , rude, condescending, is something that rubs you the wrong way, consider the way a judge will treat you, or even your own lawyer will treat you. I spent close to $30,000 thousand paying lawyers and only $350 for the advice I get for a whole year from this place, I learned more in two hours than any time I ever spent in my lawyer’s “office”. I will let yall know as a father nothing ever goes my way, but I really don’t care because my motives are for things to go my son’s way.
DO NOT USE THEM. The old man answered the phone by saying “what do you need and speak up”. I expressed what I needed and he said “well duh that’s what we’ve been doing here just pay me $300.” I asked about other fees and he laughed at me. This use to be a good business and now I feel horrible for referring people to this place for years. They don’t want to help you and don’t care much for your business.
