Almost 30 one star reviews all saying similar things, might be time to go to the BAR with this, certainly going to the BBB. Used Willie Cantu in my divorce last year. Was hoping to use him again this year when my ex-wife started trying to take my children away. He couldn’t be bothered to speak to me in any real context related to my case. He did nothing to re-assure me in my situation. We talked on the phone for a few minutes, and he basically told me to do all the work myself and call him back. I even offered to pay him for his time just talking to me over the phone. I have the call recorded as well for when they try and say otherwise. I paid this man over $4000 last year, and when I tried to bring him more business, he just told me to do it all myself. He also said I should have called prepared with my questions, which I did. I said “wait, I have 1 more question,” and he hung up on me. Rude and useless. Stay away from these people. They are overpriced while offering half the service of real attorneys. I was possibly the easiest client they have ever had. I basically paid thousands of dollars for them to draft a divorce decree, something I could’ve asked chatgpt to do. They didn’t have to go to court or do anything to fight for me at all. Now when I’m back asking for help, needing to hire a lawyer again, I am met with this type of tension. Its very frustrating. Highly unprofessional, and this isn’t the first review discussing how difficult Willie Cantu can be over the phone. He did the same thing last time I hired him but I didn’t complain then even though I should have.
No puedo creer que tenga cuatro estrellas. Yo le pondría miles si fuera posible. Tremendo abogado. Le doy gracias a Dios que lo puso en nuestro camino para ayudarnos con el caso de la custodia de mi nieta ya que anteriormente traíamos una abogada que parecía estar mas del otro lado que del nuestro. Fue increíble verlo en acción y tan excelentemente bien preparado. Con todo respeto, un león en plena batalla. Los resultados cuestan, sí, pero vale la pena. Superó nuestras expectativas. I have no words to thank Willie and his team for the incredible work they have done to defend my case. Willie was epic on the day of my final trial; he was more than prepared. I was amazed every time he spoke. I am grateful to God for having placed Willie as my attorney.
