This Law Office is absolutely a nightmare , absolutely unprofessional. On our phone Consult Mark Davis asked for all the screenshots of communications that backed up my case. I sent him everything, after reviewing he said this is an easy * Open and Shut * case that he can win. That was Feb 2024 , I received no update or communication until August 2024 ,all emails and phone calls asking for a status case update went neglectfully ignored. I was still charged $90 twice requesting an update i never received. In August Mr.Davis sent me a Proof of a Probate 2 Court Document to make corrections on, there were 14 errors on it. I asked to see the proposed Document after the corrections were made before sending it to Probate 2. I never saw the corrected proof. After my additional payment in May 2024, I started to feel neglected by this Attorneys Office and called asking to see the documents represented to Probate 2. And that i was having second thoughts about him representing me.i was transfered to Mia . I was told that there was a clerical error from a * fired * secretary who entered the wrong Docket Number, sending the case to a Civil Court, where i was charged an additional $450 for the plaintiff to be * served papers. When Probate would not have served her, giving her a heads up of an upcoming Court Proceeding against her. Long story short ,I called the Civil and District Clerk of El Paso who told me that Mr.Davis has no Court Entry in either Civil or Probate 2 Court representing me. Davis now sent me an email saying * He told me from the beginning he cannot win this case. What Attorney takes cases they can’t win? This Attorney! He listed reasons on his Dismissal Letter that we’re again absolutely not factual to the case. There were again so many inconsistencies. Please do the same as I did and record all the phone calls. And thank God Google saves all sent and received emails. Because this is what the Better Business Bureau , and Legal Aid will ask for. He has no Docket of Inventory that I’ve requested multiple times to show how $5500 was used . I still have not received any compensation or refund. People get Lawyers because they were screwed over , and unfortunately this Attorney see’s you as a weakness to do the same to you. It is absolutely disgusting. My Sister is rolling over in her grave. And believe Mark Davis will stand silent. Get a real Attorney. I sent Copies of our Contract for Probabate Court to Mark Davis from the District and Civil Court where he never entered our case. I have asked for my retainer back,as usual he has not returned any phone calls or emails .I now how to file a Grievance with the Texas State Bar to try to get my Retainer back. But you can see he defended himself on every review within 32 minutes, but can’t answer an email or phone call for 10 months.This is half my retainer. In May 2025 he had received the whole Retainer . Civil Court closed the case Aug 2024 and gave permission for the Court Documents to be transferred to Probate #2 ,Mark Davis never followed through. But he still requested money that I paid . Disgusting. Where’s my money? If you have been done wrong by this LawFirm file a Grievance with the Texas Law Board.
