Nice guy But the WORST lawyer! After hiring Mr. Elliott and paying him in-full we didn’t hear back from him for months, he moved his office, changed his phone number, never returned any of our emails…. It took us going to the Eastland Court house and spreading the word, that we were looking for him, for him to FINALLY call us back, to which he apologized and gave several excuses. Once in court, I really feel like he did O K. but he failed to fill the proper paper work so even thou we won our case we got NOTHING we asked for…. Would I ever employee Mr. Derrick Elliott again…. NO! never, not if he was the only lawyer left in the world, i feel like I’d be better off representing myself.
