My husband passed away August 30, 2023. I contacted Robert Jewett to help with my husband’s handwritten will. Dan (husband) and I each thought that if we wrote, “I leave everything to my wife (husband)” and signed and dated the will, everything would be OK, since we had no children. Nope….not in Texas. Robert was patient with me and worked my husband’s handwritten will through probate. We needed Dan’s 2 brothers to testify that the handwriting was his which we did via a zoom call with the judge. Now I have title to our home and car. After that mess, Robert and I worked on all my legal stuff one needs as one ages….POA, medical POA, Will, etc. His rate was very reasonable, and again, his patience with me was greatly appreciated. Trying to read legalese makes me want to hit my head on the table. I cannot say enough good words about Robert Jewett. I am very lucky that all of this mess is now behind me.
