Cooke Law Firm, P.C. in Burleson, Texas, is highly regarded for its exceptional legal services, particularly in family law matters such as divorce and adoption. Clients consistently praise the professionalism, responsiveness, and kindness of attorneys Patricia Cooke and her paralegal Jennifer, highlighting their ability to simplify complex legal concepts and provide supportive, attentive service. Many reviewers express their confidence in the firm, recommending it wholeheartedly for anyone in need of legal assistance, noting the team’s dedication to achieving positive outcomes for their clients.
We initially reached out to this firm with hope, believing they might assist with a very straightforward stepchild adoption matter – one we had once paused with this firm (two years ago, when they were clearly much kinder people) but were ready to resume. I was transparent from the start about past struggles we’ve had with attorneys, including one case of gross misconduct so egregiously unethical that I reported him to the Texas BAR (which resulted in formal disciplinary action).
Its been awhile ago she helped me with my child support and forgot to g8ve them a review but they do great work
Was told by Mrs. and Mr. Cooke directly that I would definitely be getting back some of my retainer because I came in providing receipts, deeds, car titles, bank statements, credit card statments, insurance, literally everything and this was “the easiest divorce” Nothing was contested, nothing was changed. My ex wasn’t even served! I took the paperwork back and forth for signatures, got them notarized and anything else. I did not call or email with a single question as I was told there would be charges for that and somehow they still managed to charge me the exact amount of my retainer. Noticing I was charged for their paralegal errors, like submitting paperwork to the court without the attorneys signature, I sent emails and made multiple calls. When I finally got a callback in the middle of discussing the call dropped and that was the last time I heard from them. They were all very friendly and while there was a delay in filing, again on the paralegals part, it was completed quickly but I am disappointed with the dishonesty.
