I contacted Scott Rothenberg because I needed an appellate lawyer. He told me that before I hired him, he would need to talk with my trial lawyer. She and Scott talked at length about what happened at trial. They agreed that given the entire situation, an appeal would not be in my or my children’s best interest. Here’s the incredible part. Even though Scott Rothenberg spent time talking to me, and my trial attorney, and analyzing the legal aspects of my situation, he did not charge me anything to do any of that. I was amazed and grateful to find an attorney who put doing the right thing ahead of being paid.
