This may be a great attorney in certain cases, but I wouldn’t advise anyone going here for a quitclaim deed. I was told they’re supposed to turn these around in 24 hours. We took it in on Tuesday…called in Wednesday to verify it was being processed. She said she’ll call us to let us know when it would be ready, but definitely by Friday. Friday afternoon, we called several times, because she didn’t call us, but noone answered the phone. I went to the office at 4:50p and the doors were locked. He was kind enough to let me in after I pounded on the door for a while…it closes at 5pm, but the staff was gone for employee appreciation, with no note on the door or anything. I signed my portion of the deed, but my Mom had to go back on Monday to sign her portion. She took the deed to the country clerks office, only to find that neither signature had been notary stamped. Back to the law office. A 24-hour turnaround turned into nearly a full week process that we had to hunt em down for. Not good.
Shawn is on it! I had misplaced a document from a closing from six years ago and emailed Shawn in an under 24 hours they had returned the document to me I was looking for. I have used Shawn and his team many times and they have always been incredibly responsive and very detailed. I’ll use them for any closing I have in Coffee County.
