We used this company for a closing on my first home purchase. Long story trying to cut short – Included in my down payment was supposed to be – for the house, the previous years income tax ($8000) , etc. They take the $8000 and send it to the IRS, with a major typo. “Pay to the order of: IRS”. It’s supposed to pay to the order of my name. 2 years later I’m still dealing with the IRS over this $8000 typo. They’ve threatened to place a lien on the very home I purchased using this company. Even though the IRS has the money, it is unapplied to my account. I mean.. You paid to the order of the IRS. Thanks for paying them, for them. You all should be the ones spending these hours on hours rectifying this issue. Instead I’m on the phone for the 4th time with the IRS, average phone call time of 90 minutes tracking down this money.
Derek completed a quitclaim deed for me a few years ago when I was going through a very stressful time in my life. He was beyond competent and nice. He made the process so easy and so stress-free. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
