These people are scammers. They work with the city of Hartsville to help pressure people into selling their houses for low dollars. They took advantage of my mentally and physically disabled ex and convinced him to sell his house for $1,000. My name was on that house still and they refused to pay me my half. They keep saying they sent it this day. They sent it that day. When the truth is they have no proof of ever sending it any day. So now I have to get my lawyer to get my half which is only $500. But of course I don’t care how much it cost to prove a point. It was my money and they cannot keep it. Now they want me to pay for a label for it and fill out another disbursement form when if it truly is lost, all they need to do is cancel the check and reissue. But instead there yet taking advantage of another person. I just got out of the hospital. I cannot even stand up to go to the bathroom. But yet they want me to jump through their hoops so they cannot send me my money again! It’s been over a month. I’m in Pennsylvania, not Mars. It shouldn’t take that long. All they ever had to do was stick a freaking stamp on the letter and send the check to my PO box but yet they can’t. They’re not working for the people. They’re working against the people. Would definitely not recommend.
