I gave King Law one star. Not because I believe they are a horrible law firm, but because they handled my case so poorly. My first lawyer was not attentive. Promised me an in person meeting to discuss the case before the first trial. That meeting never happened and he got blindsided in court. I tried to tell him who he was up against but he just kept saying “Don’t worry, it’ll be okay.” I followed their advice and did the mediation. Again, tried to warn him. That mediation ended with my Lawyer entering the room cussing in frustration and the mediating lawyer making no head way other than settling child support. The second lawyer was attentive, hard working, but was frankly way too young and inexperienced for this case. The judge repeatedly asked her to speak up in court. She spent maybe 90 mins asking questions to witnesses on the stand during the day and a half trial while the opposing attorney was allowed to bully and badger me, my daughters, and my mother. It was brutal, and uncalled for!
This is not a good law firm. Your money will be worth more value going towards a different law firm. They only care about the money and not trying to fight for what you believe in. This was a very bad experience going through this law firm. They will lie and provide you false promises.
