I will keep this short and sweet. I originally had a five-star perfect, can’t get any better kind of review. They (Berglind) took my assault case after viewing on my high definition security camera system the entire event. Then, right after covid hit, after shaking my hand telling me he is going to hold them responsible and get us both some money; he calls me right before the statute of limitations ran out just to inform me that due to covid judges are only hearing serious cases, and although mine was planly and clearly an assault (due to my head being slammed in a metal door/door frame and bruises and bleeding along with a hospital er visit to make sure I didn’t have any head trauma I didn’t know of that needed attention or at least documenting) it just wasn’t serious enough in the aspect I didn’t get hurt “enough”. What I want to know, is how much is “enough”? To the point of a coma or death? I am very, very disappointed in the law firm; and I surely hope the other attorneys of the firm are not as disappointing or disrespectful to the point of saying I wasn’t hurt enough to warrant a case during COVID. The law is the law, no matter when or what happens. Period. Now, the statute of limitations is out, and I am having my wages garnished or levyed until my hospital appointment is paid in full through each of my gross pay checks they are taking 25% of until the over half a grand is paid. Let alone the other expenses I had. Once again, I am very disappointed and disheartened. Maybe they will fix this some how. But I really don’t know how they could.
