I was appointed to this service after filing for an emergency custody hearing due to concerns regarding my child’s biological mother. Despite charging both of us $750 each, Ms. Kenyon provided no meaningful contribution to the case. The only service rendered was a 25-minute consultation—there were no home visits, no follow-ups, and she did not attend the final hearing.
I met with Mrs kenyon 1 time for the initial interview, another for a home visit caring for the children. I had an episode admittedly in between litigation, but since then and the outcome of the episode, she showed complete bias for the mother. Even though the mother was recommended by her for a mental evaluation which the female judge shot down. She’s supposed to be unbiased as a guardian for the children yet only addresses concerns from the mother. I later found out that her father who was a prominent attorney in Anderson disappeared on her as a child, later to be homeless in California. Which makes me further believe that she’s biased towards women particularly in child custody or placement cases. Absolutely do not recommended as a gal. If you’re a man, she will not address your concerns. If you’re a woman she’ll call back the same day. The average man will lose. If your lawyer recommends, run. From the lawer and floy.
