I completed an intake form at the request of Counselor Howe. The form took a couple hours to complete (quite time consuming) which is understandable considering that we were hoping to secure his services to draft our will and/or trust. However, when we attempted to schedule our first meeting, counselor Howe did not clearly communicate his availability. Instead of apologizing for the confusion his initial email caused, he blamed the miscommunication on us. I brought the miscommunication error to his attention and offered another meeting time, but never heard from counselor Howe again. This is unfortunate and reflects on his professionalism. We have since moved on to work with another law firm and are happy with the services we are receiving. But I wanted to leave this review to warn others about the intake process given that our time was wasted. I am sure the Law Offices of Howe and Garside provide excellent services once you are a client. Hopefully they can resolve the issues of their intake process.
Allyson Quay handled my case in the most professional manner, and was able to successfully negotiate with the RI District Attorney for a fair outcome. She is knowledgeable, competent, compassionate and cares about her clients. I would recommend her services to anyone!
