Daniel Carn was offensive in my interaction. When he found out that I teach in Baltimore, he responded with “Can they learn? I asked him “Are you serious?” and he responded with “They are from Baltimore.” To that I said, “They are children.” Implying that children from Baltimore cannot learn is inapporpriate, unprofessional, and racist. Because lets be real, would he have asked me that if I said I taught in Harford County? After making these comments and we all waited for copies of our documents to made, he then went over and shared his knife collection. I left his office very upsest and uncomfortable.
