I had a great experience working with this office and Melinda on 2 different cases. My first case with them was for custody, the second years later was for an adoption. Melinda always kept me informed on everything in a timely matter. She replied to my emails quickly on the many questions I had. My husband called on my behalf a few times and she was very helpful each time. I highly recommend!
Just stay away if you expect actual quality and intelligence. We were dealing with these people for almost 6 wasted months. Let’s start with his secretaries and office people. They don’t know anything. They don’t process anything, and they are not helpful. I’m not sure how many times you need to go over details of your case with the same person, but we were at about 50 times and they still couldn’t unterstand/get any facts straight about what was going on with our case. Every time we called, we had to explain over and over what was going on. Communication is slow/bad. It felt like we were trying to explain things to the wall at times. I still don’t think they ever got the actual facts of the case down and understood what was going on. Next let’s get to Joe. He is a very rude, very loud, very misimformed man who will just talk louder to talk over you no matter what. Upon our initial visit, he was very enthusiastic and positive about our case. The guy never got the facts straight about anything when we talked to him, but he made it sound like we were in a really good position. He made us supply a lot of paperwork and evidence and things that we had to take a lot of time to do, just for him to not even look at anything one time. We had to schedule an appointment to finally talk to the guy, 6 months after our initial visit, because none of his secretaries could answer any of our questions. We’ll 6 months later Joe likes to inform us we really have no case and it is what it is. After again, he couldn’t get a single fact about our case correct the whole time we were on the phone. Like you knew you had a phone call coming with a client, wouldn’t you at least look over the case so you can get the facts straight when your client is calling in? Very very very dissatisfied, will never ever use this place again for anything. Like I said, if you want to be lied to, disrespected, talked over, and ultimately waste your time then this is your guy. If not keep on looking.
