Retaining Janice Patz as my lawyer was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I had a very complicated situation dealing with a Trust agreement which I knew nothing about. After meeting with Janice I felt confident that I had chosen the right person to handle my situation. She is extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. After reviewing the Trust agreement Janice was able to breakdown the details and explain to me in terms that I could understand. She was very patient with me when I did not return phone calls or emails timely. She stuck with me and I greatly appreciate her. She guided me thru the steps in finalizing the transfer of the property contained in the Trust agreement. Without hesitation I would recommend Janice Patz for any legal situation you may need help with.
Janice asked for a couple of thousand dollars up front which I was happy to give her trusting what she said she could do for me regarding an estate of a family member. But, she literally read a couple of letters for me and answered one and never did anything else. I got a very tiny portion of the estate and she was nowhere to be found and was very unsupportive. When I asked her for some of the retainer back she said she was going to create a new bill for me and that I would owe her more money. We never had any other communication after that.
