I strongly recommend Herb & Winters Law; Attorney Joshua Winters was very patient to collect all related information from us and did a professional job for our case.
Our case is a compensation claim against next door demolition damage on our property. Jim was recommended to me by a colleague. I’m an attorney and my colleague is an attorney. I hired Jim because my expertise is in appellate procedure, not estates and trusts. Jim is a great guy and really knows. estates and trusts. He did a great job for me. In fact, I’ve hired him for some other matters. Please know that I did not give five stars, only because five stars means there’s nothing else to improve upon. In my view, everyone benefits from improvement. I highly recommend Jim.
I had an exasperating landlord-tenant situation and the help provided by Jim, Josh and staff was definitely reassuring. Communication about any questions I had, whether from the office staff or the attorneys were always answered in a timely manner. Although it took a while to finely evict the tenant, it was because of the stipulations in the Landlord-Tenant Act and not the work of the attorneys. This is the second time I have used this firm, the first was for my divorce and that was over 25 years ago. You may not want to be in situations where you need an attorney, but when you do, it is good to know who you can talk to!

I just called the office and after explaining that I wanted to set up a trust to include my businesses and why to the receptionist, she got distracted then said, “I’m sorry – what did you want to do again?” She was not clarifying. She simply hadn’t paid attention to my simple one sentence explanation. I said, I’m sorry. If you didn’t listen the first time then you aren’t the office for me. I wonder how much business they lose because of their unqualified receptionist.
