Dennis has helped me with several legal matters over several decades. He has always been honest and upfront about the circumstances I was facing.
Dennis is a public defender who has already been terminated from employment once. He won a lawsuit over age discrimination to get his job back.
Dennis is currently aiding my abusers in two matters, and seems to have violated ethics in both.
On the first, he is representing my father, who is trying to circumvent a court supercedes on am eviction. (Said supercedes is the result of named plaintiff perjuring himself in court and failing to file paperwork properly, as well as misrepresenting the lease agreement)
In doing so, Dennis unethically filed a precipi to discontinue, settle, and end the case. (For those of you who are not familiar, this is a motion that can only be filed AFTER A SETTLEMENT is reached. No settlement was reached here, nor did mediation happen) Dennis, being the unethical type, filed this document falsely, in an attempt to take advantage of a defendant who was Pro Se.
He also issued a false eviction letter against defendant, and there is strong indication he communicated ex parte with judge involved in the case. (Judge has now recused himself.)
And the funny thing?
He lost the case anyway.
He’s now advising his client to hold up a PFA Moderation, in an attempt to uphold the false precipi and save himself from possible consequences. This is affecting both my estranged wife, and son, and quite frankly isn’t very public defense of him.
He has been reported to his office, and the BAR is next.
I know lawyers sometimes respond to these reviews. Keep in mind the guy responding already got fired from a public office once, and is currently interfering with a PROTECTION FROM ABUSE proceeding, while also being on the hook for a malicious, unethical filing. Take whatever he says with a whole container of salt.
And remember Dennis; it’s still ex parte communication if you use the judge’s family to do it; even if that’s just family by marriage.
