I paid her an $8,000, plus an additional $500, retainer and after continuing my case for over 2 YEARS she sends me an email telling me that she’s quitting because I didn’t pay an additional fee to goto trial. I haven’t heard anything from her in almost 9 months. No phone calls, no texts, no emails, and no written letters of any kind saying that I have to pay her more money. It is her job to keep me updated and I had to constantly hound her for information regarding my case and court dates. I thought I paid for a lion but what I got was a declawed kitten. If I could go back I would find a much less expensive lawyer that would have handled this whole thing right and been finished MUCH more quickly. I would recommend that you don’t waste your time.
