I am so thankful for Mark Mateya. I hit a brick wall when my mother had a stroke. She didn’t have any Will or Living Will or POA. I needed POA right away. I called many firms and a free lawyer would have been paid through Dept of Aging which they were going to do over the phone!
I left a message on Mateya Law Firm voice-mail not expecting a call back. I had called many firms and they couldn’t do it right away. It would’ve taken at least 2 to 3 weeks. I prayed to God an asked for help.
Mark returned my call. And could do it the next day! He also is a notary and I had everything needed and completed the next day. He came into the nursing home with my mother and I and my brother.
When I took the POA to my mother’s bank I had to give them a copy of the POA and they applied for me to handle my mother’s finances. The bank told me she glanced over the document and I shouldn’t have any problems. Mark had me have 2 witness sign the documents. The bank told me most lawyers forget to get 2 witnesses. I am so thankful for Mark’s expertise.
