Just wanted to ask a few questions, to the lawyer and NOT the receptionist, about a real estate Article of Agreement (a simple contract) that I’m proceeding with. I told the receptionist I would be a new client and needed to ask a couple questions to the lawyer (NOT her). She proceeded to say $75 for consultation. I said Just to ask a couple questions over the phone? She said, well what was your questions? I get that time is money and calls need screened but for a quick 5 minute phone call to see how I wanted to proceed and if they wanted to finalize the Article of Agreement? Why does it have to be so difficult? Don’t expect to talk with anyone at this firm, unless you’re forking out cash, even for a simple question… It’s ridiculous…
