Dennis Pappas, Atty George Mouhlas and their staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in setting up a plan for my family. He was immensely helpful, sincere and knowledgeable in helping my adult children plan the care of their mother. I am a retired out of state lawyer, and from Harvard Law through my 50 years of practice, I know a great lawyer when I meet one.
They are not prompt at returning voice-mail.
I called back the next day and the woman who answered said she got my voice-mail when I asked but didn’t say anything like as to why she did not return my call. Instead she had a cold and kind of snotty way about her. She couldn’t even say sorry for your loss pertaining to my mothers death. She made me feel like I was wasting her time and could care less about me or getting my business. EVERY other law firm I called, the person who I spoke with was so pleasant and made me feel at ease.
I was told they have a $300 consultation fee which ended up being 100% to 200% higher than 3 other Lawfirms I called. In addition they only settle the trust and you have to go somewhere else to have the final IRS death tax filing submitted. All the other firms I called do EVERYTHING.
This is a very hard time when you lose your Mother and then you have to deal with this legal process. I believe this office could use a more compassionate person to deal with.
This was my personal experience and opinions and I am not saying not to use this Firm. I am simply sharing my view.
