I decided to use her despite the reviews i read because a good friend recommended her. Well i should have taken into accout that her case was years ago. I was a bit shocked thelat her retainer was 8,000. But convinced myself, she must be good. I decided to have her write a letter in hopes the other party would agree, but was prepared to go the distance. Little did i know, i had really safe gaurded myself. After a month and no letter drafted, i emailed her, no response, a wk later emailed again, no response. A wk later received the draft. Needless to say, i was very disappointed. Tons of spelling errors, her asst. Spelled my name wrong! And crucial things left out. It was up to maybe 5th grade writing level. Now keep in mind, i have saved for 1.5 years to be able to protect my daughter in some sense. I need someone on my side. I put a $1,050 retainer down just for the letter. I decided i better cut my losses abd go elsewhere. She scammed me out of $450 total. Seems from other reviews, this is becoming common for her practice. In essence i dodged a bullet here and i am so grateful i never put the full 8 grand down. I have gone with a firm, doal and colewell. Right out of the gate the level of proffesionalism stomps this questionable practice occurring at winglers office. Steer clear, i think she is burnt and needs to retire!!
Men/fathers specifically, be careful! This attorney makes her living off of false hope. She was the opposing attorney in my custody case years ago, and she was an utter joke. My sons dad ended up with LESS visitation time than I was originally offering. We both paid money for court, only for him to get less time with his kid than I was offering him, ponder that!!! She is not always honest with the odds of her clients. This woman wastes good people’s time and money, even her own clients, by manipulating, overusing, and draining the courts resources and time. She makes minimal effort for her clients and responds so vaguely, yet manages to waste others time and money so well. Since she defended my sons father years ago, I have watched this woman drag perfectly good mother’s through court to defend fathers who have zero leg to stand on against the mother. I’m not saying the fathers were bad or undeserving fathers, but wouldn’t you want to be paying an attorney who is going to be honest with your odds in court? Just be careful, if you need a cheapy attorney she’s your girl! Or if being in denial, being vindictive, and paying this woman is worth buying your pride some more time, then give her a call, she’s definitely the darkness you’re looking for!
The first words out of her mouth were “oh so you’re going up against Chris, good luck” Chris is my ex-husband‘s attorney. In addition she claimed the $10,000 retainer fee
