Geoff Silverman was my attorney for 16 years- I have appreciated and admired him and his work ethic on my behalf these past 16 years as his client. He had always been a most comforting advocate when I needed him most. I couldn’t be more thankful for all he’s done for me through the years. However by last October (2024) he added an assistant to handle his cases. After dealing with only her since Geoff seemed to disappear, I have to say I was so disappointed and totally dissatisfied with the service I received, I had to terminate my relationship with his law firm. In my opinion, he didn’t hire a qualified, professional assistant- I ended up finishing the expungement he had been handling for me on behalf of my daughter on my own! DIY forms online and free counsel at Portland Community College legal clinic. Finally received the approved expungement today!! It wasn’t easy but it was so much better than having to deal with Mr. Silverman’s assistant, Angela.
I was told Geoff would be taking on my case and had a different approach with new insights. That was deceptive. I paid for a consultation and received nothing helpful—not even one actionable piece of support. He knowingly misrepresented what he could offer.
Geoff has done a great job for many years & has great service along with price. well done indeed
