Many clients have praised Julie Rowett and her team for their professionalism, helpfulness, and ability to navigate complex situations, particularly in setting up Special Needs Trusts. I met with this firm and agreed to pay them to represent my mother for estate planning. I was billed $420 for the initial visit in March, 2024. I was not informed in advance that there would be a charge for the initial meeting, but I paid it anyway because I wanted my mother to have the help that she needed quickly. They waited until the end of May to call my her. When they did call, it was to decline to represent her. 7 months later in February 2025 they sent me a $193.50 bill for REFUSING TO REPRESENT my mother. They did absolutely nothing other than refuse to represent my mother
Not taking new clients. Not worth the bother
For the vast majority of the public who are ignorant to the corruption going on in socalled “protective proceedings,” this firm is among the worst offenders. They threaten clients with never seeing their parents again, unless they agree to notorious fiduciary, Ann Yela, being appointed as their loved ones guardian and conservator. Once that happens all is lost.
