Unfortunately, Judge Steele is a disgrace for many women who, for no good reason, takes their children away from her care and breaks the children’s emotions. She has no empathy whatsoever and is undoubtedly a great disgrace for the residents of Clackamas and Oregon, may God judge her with the same yardstick that she judges.
I wish I could give 0 stars about this “honorable” judge. I would be remiss if I did not express my disappointment and concern regarding the conduct of the judge in question. With over two and a half decades of experience in providing support to clients and acquaintances, it is evident that this individual lacks the empathy and consideration necessary for a position of authority in which lives are so profoundly impacted by battles with addiction. The fact that such a person has found themselves presiding over drug court proceedings is an unfortunate and distressing situation for all who must interact with her. Today, her statement of “I am sick of you” and her dismissive attitude towards a concerned mother’s claim regarding her child’s diagnosis were deeply unsettling. It is concerning that no assessment or compassionate gestures were extended to this individual who has been making notable progress. This incident, in particular, is not an isolated lapse in professionalism, but rather a further demonstration of her consistently disrespectful, unsympathetic, and unkind approach. The judge in question resides far from being trauma aware or empathetic, actions that seem to be entirely contrary to her interactions. It is regrettable that Clackamas County Drug Court has allowed such behavior to transpire.
I’m really surprised this judge got a 5star rating. I’m not surprised to see, however, that she only has 1 review. If I could give her less than 1 star I would. She is totally biased. She’s prejudice. I wasn’t allowed a fair hearing. The woman wouldn’t even allow me to present evidence or ask questions of my witnesses. I mean, she did ask me if I wanted to ask any questions but when I tried, she cut me off and said I wasn’t allowed to ask that under the law or she’d say I was making a statement. Wouldn’t even allow me to get to the question at the end of the statement. Thank the Goddess for the court of appeals. I am filing an appeal and I’m confident that when the next judge looks at the videos I submitted, they will be inclined to overturn judge Steele’s ruling. My tormentor will torment me no more. This time, I will be prepared with an attorney.
