$20,000 Twenty thousand dollars wasted and would be better off without an attorney at all. Lee Ferguson in my opinion is scared of Klamath County judges and attorneys. If you want a fighter for your family don’t bother with Ferguson because she won’t bother to help you in any meaningful way.
Same story as the rest when dealing with Wilson. Find any other law office in the area.
I originally went in for a consultation with Wilson. He had no interest in my case because I’m a father fighting for custody of my less than 1 year old daughter. He determined immediately that I would lose. But he did recommend that I go across the hall to his associate Lee Ferguson. I had to get a restraining order on the mother of my child. Lee Ferguson did her best to help me keep the restraining order against her but ultimately it was dropped. Ferguson saw that I was not a liar, and saw holes in my daughter’s mothers game. She stuck by my side and helped me through my custody battle. Knowing I was not in the best financial position, she allowed me to start making payments instead of turning her back on me, and kept fighting for my daughter and I. In the end, I was awarded as the custodial parent! And it was against Pickens who is from what I was told, is one of the best lawyers around. I was very uneasy during the whole process which took 8 months, because I had felt a small lack of communication. But it was revealed that it was for my benefit because she was trying to save me money. Attorney’s time is not free, including phone calls and consultations. Lee and her staff were nice to me and helped my confidence walking into court the 4 or 5 times we went. As a father in the state of Oregon you will be told by many lawyers that you are looking at being heartbroken, because the state believes in the mother having the children if it comes to custody. Lee Ferguson looked at the facts instead of worrying about the statistics and won for my daughter and I. Because of her and her staff, I know my daughter will be safe with me, and her mother can not run away with her again without getting in major trouble if she does. I have the utmost respect for Lee and I’d recommend any father who needs true help to go see her. Of course, as in any case, make sure you stay honest with her and have proof behind you to back up your word. If you do that, Lee will do the rest.
