I would not recommend this lawyer for any family law.. Very dishonest and will not get back to you for weeks.. Only cares about money and not the clients.. Doesn’t call back for weeks on end and leaves you in the dark to defend yourself in front of a judge.. she never fought for my kids or for me.. I wish I chose a different lawyer to represent me..
I am really disappointed in the representation and serious lack of communication. The reviews of this office do not at all reflect what I’ve experienced. It had been 3 weeks since the last communication from the office, which was a response to my asking why I hadn’t heard anything or received anything 2 months after a settlement conference. And now it’s been one month since I was told I’d receive information within a week. I’ve repeatedly been told I’m on the list or will hopefully get a call “tomorrow”. In the settlement conference, I felt I was speaking up to defend my case more than Teri. The deposition was disappointing due to a lack of discovery information provided by the other party. I feel that there was very little effort put into my case, and I have frequently felt forgotten about, dismissed, and overlooked. The excuse I was given for lack of communication is that there’s a shortage of attorneys and they have a lot of new cases. Not sure why the new cases take priority over current ones. But if you are going up against someone deceitful, dishonest, and who has a significantly higher income, do yourself a favor and get an attorney who actually cares and will fight for you otherwise you may as well represent yourself.
I worked with Teri over the course of a few months regarding my custody battle with my ex husband. She was organized and ended up helping me gain full custody of my children. I am so grateful for her services. So much that we used her again for my husband’s custody battle.
