No divorce here….However a custody case. Let me start by saying our case was of a very unique situation. It took almost 2 years, but we received the results we desired. It was no surprise to myself and my husband the length of the case. Not so to our attorney or us. I jokingly advised Steve from the get go , this case would drag. However in the end everything worked out exactly as we wanted. A million thanks to the whole team Steve, Te’ and Lori. When looking for an attorney…we were turned away from a few. I guess our case did not look winable to them. I told you our case is unique … Daray Law said Yes we can help you and they have. I would trust this team. I have been waiting a long time to write this review! I could write a book but I will keep it as short as possible. Mr. Daray was appointed as our GAL in our custody case. Unfortunately, he did not live up to the expectations of a GAL (conducts an investigation into matters that might not be brought before the court by the attorneys representing the parties). He completely favored the mother (no surprise) in our case to get custody. He was supposed to visit both houses but only went to hers. He was supposed to interview each party equally but had many more visits with the mother. His job was to determine the best path for the child but felt bad for the mother and he overlooked the important details and never gave us a fighting chance for more time. He didn’t even help us navigate a more favorable custody schedule. Our sweet child just wanted equal time. Come to find out that her job did work on the side for Mr. Steve Daray (shhh, she didn’t want anyone to know that). To get to my point here, the mother that HE protected ended up going to prison for fraud and theft. She was stealing from her own family! We then found out that she was using the money for drugs, alcohol and gambling. Nice job, Mr. Daray. Luckily, we ended up with full custody and he is happy and healthy.
