Jerry did not communicate with me about my case at all it was mainly with my older brother who was providing the funds for my case. He communicated with him. I think he could have done a better job. I do not feel that he cared about my future. He did get me judicial release after serving about 6 months of time. I was not 100 percent aware of what he was doing as far as strategy. He got a private investigator which seemed to hurt my case as well as providing a compensation to the victim which seemed like it was hush money to the victim. Also, hurting my case. So I was not 100 percent satisfied. Lack of communication; pretty much zero. He lost my phone number and email as well. He also still has my USB drive I never got it back. I do not feel that I had to go to prison for my offense. The biggest red flag was that he made me sign off on an F2 which can never be removed. He did not tell me this ever. I think people should pay attention to this. There is another review which says people of color should be aware. In hind sight I think that that is correct. Non-whites approach with caution. Definitely felt railroaded by the system and lawyers. Katie Tharp was my first lawyer from this same firm. Horrible strategy with her too. Be careful. Do not waste your money and time here; it was very difficult to deal with them. Katie Tharp said that if I told her something she had to share it with the prosection !! I felt more exposed than protected. I should not have an F2. Be careful everyone. Also, I wrote a letter to the judge. Jerry changed it to worse letter and wrote it as if I was a second grader. Severe negligence. Be careful.
