Lafe erroneously took my case against the University of Toledo, School of Medicine to state court instead of U.S. Federal District Court resulting in me paying 10s of Thousands of dollars and no justice due to taking this matter to the wrong court. When confronted be this error he has acted very immaturely.
Mr Tolliver is an exceptional attorney who combines the best of legal work with compassion. I couldn’t be happier with all of the legal assistance and advice he has given me. Extremely patient and a superior advocate for his clients. I wholeheartedly look forward to working with him in the future should I need an attorney. He’s also extremely honest and fair on his hourly rate.
This man is horrible, from March to September this man did absolutely nothing and all of a sudden tried to strong arm me out of over $2800.00 more dollar asking me for different amounts each time for a deposition then asking me to give him money in the tune of over $2000.00 to put in HIS escrow account. I had 1 face to face meeting with him because there was no actions taken on my case for almost a whole year and he didn’t remember that the defendant filed an answer to my lawsuit in June. He didn’t remember I answered his question about when I would have the nearly $3000.00 more outside of the $1850.00 I’d already paid him, now he’s acting like he’s been paid off by the defendant and also admitted to her contacting him on the phone. He now says at that time that he didn’t even talk to her but I don’t believe him. He has been very sketchy from day one but won my case when she tried to evict me. I choose to represent myself in the cases to follow and I won without him. Now he’s acting out and being extremely threatening and belligerent.. I’m filing a complaint with the Bar Association and filing for a fee arbitration hearing. Don’t trust this man .
