Showed up late to our appointment in golf attire to which we stayed for about 10-15 mins in his office. He took down our info for an adoption case then proceeded to tell us he didn’t know the laws regarding our case and that his paralegal knew more than him on adoptions and referred us to someone else after taking our $150 consultation fee. We asked multiple questions during the meeting if he thought there was anything we COULD do or if he had an idea on if we could do anything and he didn’t answer a single one of our questions. I called a week before to ask if he could help us and his secretary said “you’re paying for answers so I can’t answer if we can help over the phone” . Complete waste of time and I wish I could get my money back.
I used Walt several times in 2010. He was always very honest and reliable. I have and will always recommend him.
Walt handled my case some years back (2018). The reason for the review isn’t specifically the handling of my case. Though he did pretend to know what he was talking about, and was sure to run up as many billable hours as possible without doing much. But again, not the reason for the review.
