Plunkett flat out and lied to me. He told me that he got me a way high settlement with worker’s comp. I was still going to the doctors and still getting pain medicine, and my sister who hadn’t been to the doctors in years. She wanted to settle so I took her to see Plunkett and he told her he could get her $140,000 to settle with worker’s comp. Then I decided to settle too. I went in by myself. He told me I was going to get $999,999. I went to sign the paper and the attorney started talking to me while I was signing the papers and I didn’t read the papers, I just signed them. I know it was my fault for not reading before signing them. But the moral is to not go in for a settlement by yourself, take someone in with you. Also I think he is bias against heavier people because my sister is thin and I’m on the heavier side.
