Lyons, Doughty & Veldhuis, P.C., located in Dublin, Ohio, is a law firm that has received mixed reviews from clients regarding their services as attorneys and debt collectors. While some clients appreciate the effective communication and updates provided by Mr. Cheek throughout their cases, others express frustration with the payment processing issues and perceived lack of support from the firm. Overall, while there are positive remarks about individual interactions, many clients feel that the firm’s practices could be improved to enhance their overall experience.
Payment website says error, page does not exist. Have called several times about not being able to make my payment online. I have explained I like to do it electronically through the website so I have a check recorded on my bank statements. Each person I have spoken with says the payment page of their site works, but it doesn’t. Have not been offered any other type of help with this.
I never received notice of owing this debt and even when you check the court doc it states I was unable to deliver, how ever my wages were garnished which isn’t the issue. The courts can hold funds up to 14 days and anytime I called in to check the balance to get the updated payment corrected to capital one for my credit I was told they were waiting on the funds from the court. It had been atleast 30 days before the courts sent out the last of the received payments. Thank god my job sent the papers to stop the garnishment once it was paid on my end because if it were left up to Lyons Doughty & Veldhuis I’d still be getting garnished while way over paid. As fast as they garnished my wages would have been how fast I would have liked them to receive my payments from the courts. Long story short pay your debts
This company just denied an elderly couple in their 70s who are on fixed income the opportunity to payoff their $6k debt that is over 10 years old. They are now unable to refinance their home due to this outrageous company. Paul should be ashamed of how he treated this couple who are just trying to do the right thing.
