I have been working with this elder law office off and on since 2017. My father was in a nursing home. My mother fell and injured parts of her brain in the process. She needed to go into care and was never able to return home. While Medicaid was telling us to sell everything of my parents’ and send them the check, Samantha at the law office showed us how to keep some of the assets in a trust for my parents in case they needed something that insurance or medicaid didn’t cover. We were able to just hand all of the paperwork to her and so much got done! For the buyers to move in, we had a lot of updates needed. We were able to get them done & send Sam the bill (all got paid for out of my parents’ assets). We paid Medicaid something, paid Sam’s bill and got to keep my parents’ money in a trust. Samantha, at Cleaver and Sokolowski completed SO MUCH paperwork (so easy for them, they do it everyday!) and it kept my stress level WAY down so that I could put my attention where it was needed most. The staff was very responsive and I had complete confidence in their work. I highly recommend the elder law office of Cleaver and Sokolowski.
