My family has used Mr Kirkpatrick for several closings. When I called to inquire about a cash closing recently and the receptionist was horribly rude to me. She was unaware of the recent NAR and local MLS changes, and she spoke to me as if I was completely ignorant. She raised her voice, cut me off and told me I was wrong because she’s “been in real estate for 20 years”. She told me to take my business elsewhere, so I guess I will. It’s understandable not to be right on top of every regulatory change. It’s unacceptable to treat people terribly when they kindly bring changes to your attention. She simply could not comprehend that I would be paying my buyer agent cash. She insisted the seller agent always pays commissions. That’s not correct
