Franklin County District Attorney’s office in Louisburg, North Carolina, is often viewed through a lens of disappointment and frustration, particularly in cases involving theft and negligence. While some reviewers acknowledge the kindness of individual attorneys, the overall sentiment suggests a lack of thoroughness and commitment to justice, leading to feelings of being underserved. Despite the challenges faced, there remains a glimmer of hope in the community’s resilience and the support from local advocates who strive to assist families in need.
My family experienced a house fire in 2018. A contractor took the job to repair our house. He gave false documents to the insurance company, and disappeared aftered taking 36,000 dollars. The insurance policy he had was cancelled 3 months after taking the job, and when asked for bonding insurance he panicked and left. Out house was never repaired. We only had 2 months remaining of money to keep us in the temp house. If not for the News man Steve Scbraccia and atlas home building, my family and I would have been homeless. We took the man to court to press charges for the theft. ADA oliveri knew there was a case, and had all the evidence needed. It even went from criminal to superior court. Then COVID hit, and we got backlogged. Regrettably, oliveri passed away. Then we get this new ADA that is just looking for quick cases to throw out to lower her work load, and choose us. Thanks to her negligence, this man named Salvador Chavez Gutierrez will show the world that you can steal $36,000, and only have to give back $5,000 to save yourself from charges. This is horrible, don’t trust the Franklin county court systems to do any justice. They just look for quick fixes or you get screwed. No Justice!
